Introducing the Committee

At Kings Moat we believe in the power of community. The Residents' Association is made up of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to improve our local environment and foster a sense of belonging among neighbours.

Paul

Chair

Paul is originally from St Helens, but in 2018 while flying to Palma for a marathon he happened to sit next to some members of Chester Road Runners. It was during this journey that he met Laura, who is now his wife. Drawn to the plans for the Kings Moat estate and its proximity to Chester, they decided to buy a house there together.

Now settled in Chester, Paul and Laura have a three-year-old son who keeps them busy, as well as a 14-year-old daughter who lives with them full-time and is a wonderful big sister.

Paul has a passion for endurance sports, regularly participating in triathlons and running events. Paul also has a couple of ironman races under his belt.

Wanting to contribute to his new community, Paul initially joined the Residents' Association to help improve the estate and to help organise community events. When Paul first arrived in Chester he knew no one and now Paul serves as the chair of the Association and is committed to continuing the positive work already achieved, striving to make Kings Moat a fantastic place to live for everyone..

Danielle

Deputy Chair

Having moved to Chester 14 years ago to be with her husband, Danielle finally settled in Kings Moat in May 2024, fulfilling their dream of owning a Redrow heritage home. Danielle balances her personal life between two beloved bulldogs, her stepson and husband, often spending weekends at football matches or enjoying long walks while the boys go mountain biking. With a strong background in Property Management and as the owner of a local Property Company, Danielle is dedicated to supporting Kings Moat Residents’ Association. Danielle is committed to ensuring that service charges and the services provided by the managing agent are effectively monitored and maintained to the highest standards for all Kings Moat residents.

Ravi

Treasurer

Ravi moved to Chester in 2018 and quickly fell in love with the town he now proudly calls home. Originally from India and a qualified Chartered Accountant, he settled in Kings Moat in 2021. Since then, Ravi has been instrumental—alongside Phil and Nikki—in establishing the banking systems for the Residents Association right from its inception.

When he's not working his magic in Excel, Ravi enjoys hiking, reading books and spending time with his close-knit community of friends and family.

Liz

Secretary & Webmaster

Liz moved to the beautiful city of Chester to be closer to family and after years of searching, found the perfect home at Kings Moat. She is delighted to contribute her computer skills to the Kings Moat Residents Association, helping to support the wonderful community.

As a proud parent of four grown-up children and a grandparent to ten grandchildren, family is always at the heart of everything she does. Liz looks forward to being an active part of the neighbourhood and working together to make Kings Moat a great place to live.

Emrah

a nice guy

Having lived in the area for over five years, Emrah recently moved to Kings Moat from Saltney. With over a decade of experience as a driving instructor and instructor trainer, Emrah is passionate about helping people gain confidence on the road.

As a parent to a 7-year-old, Emrah is deeply invested in the community and is very keen to contribute and support the Residents’ Association.

Kings Moat is within the parish boundary of Dodleston Parish Council.

Thanks to Parish Council support, our communities can stay connected and informed.
